Technology

Water, energy and smart control — engineered into every unit.

Automated and manual control

Master smart control & security

One dashboard for the whole home

A secure master dashboard, wall-mounted interface and optional mobile app manage the essential systems of every home. If the internet or cloud service is unavailable, the system supports local and manual operation, with role-based access for residents and authorised service staff.

What it controls

Monitoring and control, room by room

Central control

Wall interface and mobile app with a local fallback when the internet is down.

Heating, cooling & alarms

Setpoints, HVAC scheduling, fault notifications and alarm status. Smoke and CO alarms stay independently functional.

Lighting & awning

Room-by-room scenes, occupancy schedules, outdoor lighting and electric awning control with physical override.

Wastewater monitoring

Tank-level sensors, pump status, high-level alerts, pump-out reminders and usage history.

Clean & grey/black water

Freshwater level, consumption and leak alerts, with clearly separated wastewater circuits.

Solar & battery dashboard

Production, battery charge, consumption, generator readiness and low-energy alerts.

Cameras

Optional exterior security cameras with encrypted video storage and privacy settings.

Coded entry

Keypad or smart-lock entry with unique codes, an audit log and a mechanical emergency override.

Water system

Three tanks, three clearly separate circuits

Dedicated level sensors report capacity and service alerts to the master control system, and separate accessible pump-out connections support extraction based on actual usage.

Tank 1

Clean water

Fresh-water storage for the whole home, with a level sensor reporting to the master control system.

Tank 2

Grey water

Greywater from showers and sinks, held separately with its own sensor and service connection.

Tank 3

Black water

Blackwater from the toilet, contained in a sealed tank with spill prevention and high-level alerts.

Final tank sizing, wastewater handling and disposal, rainwater reuse and connections require site-specific engineering and local approval. A holding tank is not automatically an approved septic treatment system.

Energy

Solar-ready, battery-backed and efficient

The roof is designed to take solar panels, with provision for a battery and inverter, heat-pump heating and cooling, and a high-performance envelope that keeps demand low. Electrical generation and storage capacity is sized after energy modelling for each project.

  • Canadian-made solar panels, inverters, batteries and controls as the sourcing objective
  • Optional backup generator integrated through approved transfer equipment
  • Energy monitoring on the master dashboard

Verification note. CSA and provincial code compliance and cybersecurity testing are future verification steps. Security devices are designed so that they never impede safe exit.
